I am from Louisiana. In 1946 there was a Bar named the “Honey Dripper”. It was in a little southern town here called Independence. It was for Blacks only. My Father ran the Game Room card games for the owner named Mr. Tom. He had acres of strawberries, etc. and hired black pickers. And he made boot-leg wine and whiskies.
I know the whole history of the bar, the owner, and my Dad who worked in there.
