Making movies directly for the internet of DVD is not my idea of filmmaking. If that becomes the norm I will abandon my dream. The best way to stop this from happening is to see these smaller films in their theatrical run. The more money they make, the more likely the studios will take notice that there is a hunger for real movies out there. The road ro becomming a real filmmaker may be bumpy right now, but never give up on the future of the cinema. Decent flicks should not be treated like the latest Van Damme picture.
